Getting Married At Kariwak

We are ideally suited for simple, intimate garden ceremonies (max 50 persons) and look forward to helping you create the small, tropical wedding of your dreams...

Our Basic Wedding Package is $1800 US which includes:

• Assistance with legal paperwork including transport to and from the Registrar General and follow up mailing of final certificate to home country if necessary.
• Pre-meeting with Minister to review your personal wishes and his/her fee for the ceremony.
• Arbour and grounds decorated with fresh, seasonal, tropical flowers.
• Bridal bouquet and boutonnière.
• 2 bottles of sparkling wine or 1 bottle of champagne.
• Witnesses – if required.
• Wedding cake.
• Photographer.

• Videographer $350 US
• Live music steel pan/drummer duo $200 US
• Sparkling wine for group toast $75 US per bottle (5 glasses)
• Pre or post – wedding double massage for the bride and groom $120 US

• Finger foods $6 - $10 US per person
• Rum +/ Fruit Punch $50 US for every 10 persons

While sharing a post-wedding meal with your guests in our restaurant is also an option, we are not the traditional wedding reception venue and lack some of the facilities and services that might be associated with such a space e.g. public address system for speeches, spot lights for photo/video purposes etc.

The meal would be served within our regular serving hours and the restaurant would still be open to our in-house guests and members of the public. Your party would be seated in the same section of the restaurant but not necessarily at the same table, depending on the size of the group.

Early morning or late afternoon are best for an outdoor tropical wedding.
Breakfast ranges from $20 - $25 US per person, Dinner from $30 - $35 US per person.

We usually have live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights and would also be happy to organize alternative live music for your party during the week for an additional fee.

Accomodations:

Double occupancy room rates at Kariwak vary with the season; we would be happy to negotiate a reduced rate for members of your wedding party depending on the size of the group and the duration and timing of the stay. All taxes are included in these rates.

If both parties are foreign nationals, they must be in T&T for a minimum of 3 days PRIOR to the date of the ceremony and provide supporting documentation i.e. passport, tickets etc. Requirements differ if one or both parties are local residents; please indicate at time of booking.
If either party has been previously married, proof of divorce or death certificate of former spouse would be required. If these documents are not in English, a notarized translation is also required.

These rates are valid until December 2010.
