Kariwak has 24 thoughtfully appointed rooms each with its own private bathroom and patio. 18 cabana style rooms are nestled around the pool and the remaining 6 are tucked away in the back gardens, All the rooms are airconditioned, equipped with a safe, a radio alarm clock. hair dryer, iron and ironing boards. However, should you choose to bring your own please note that the voltage in Tobago is 110/220 V with American style 3 prong outlets. Cribs are provided for babies.

Kariwak offers the ideal facilities for almost any kind of group event from yoga retreats to poetry readings, from weddings to business meetings. We offer a variety of options for small to medium sized gatherings including our signature open air thatched Ajoupas, the surrounding gardens and our modern conference room. Warmly embraced by the peacefulness of these natural spaces and deliciously supported by the services of the on-site restaurant, your Kariwak event is sure to be a memorable one.

Winner of the Prime Minister’s Award for best gardens, two years running, Kariwak’s gardens are a nature lovers dream. There is also a sizeable kitchen garden where we grow the majority of the herbs that are such an essential part of Kariwak cuisine and the smells of fresh cut rosemary and thyme often permeate the morning air. Spend an afternoon going through our garden guide in which each of the over 100 varieties of flowering and non-flowering tropical plants are listed. This tremendous diversity also attracts an unusual variety of wildlife for this area, over 20 species of birds, many species of butterflies and lizards and on a rainy day entire families of giant snails can be found cruising along the footpaths.
OTHER AMENITIES
The main Kariwak pool is adjacent to the Restaurant and Bar; beach towels are complimentary to our guests. Our waterfall Jacuzzi plunge pool is nestled in the back gardens where you will also find a number of hammocks well placed for an evening nap or a day of reading. There are no televisions in the rooms but there is a central television viewing room with Cable TV, which broadcasts a number of local and American channels as well as BBC World and Deutshe World. Our TV Room also houses our little library with a variety of books in almost any language.
GUEST SERVICES
In addition to access to all our facilities, Kariwak guests can also enjoy our complimentary morning stretch, yoga and tai chi classes in the Ajoupa. Kariwak is an eight minute walk from Store Bay Beach. We offer a complimentary shuttle service to Pigeon Point Beach, Tobago's popular calm white sandy beach with watersports. Complimentary beach towels are available at the Front Desk.
